Cody & Liz are a husband-wife-team that focuses on new homes, remodeling, and custom cabinetry projects. As a smaller builder, they focus on the needs of the customers by keeping costs low and standards high.

Where it began…

In 1999, Cody began building homes working for a custom builder while attending Mankato West High School. When he graduated, he began building homes full-time for custom builders and eventually started CZ Construction in 2016.

Over the last 25-ish years, he has focused his energy on creativity, perfection, and building relationships in the community. He thrives on special projects and unique requests.

Liz and Cody met in 2009, working together on various home projects before Cody began his own business. Liz works in accounting, so she naturally works on all things that don’t involve sawdust, and Cody prefers to work on all things that don’t involve computers. The perfect team.
